| Description: | The third and final part of the suite “Existensiell Svit”. Written for female vocalist with Swedish lyrics by Daniel Eng. A soft and humble, yet powerful wish for the life ahead to come, this piece starts with a long instrumental part, where the vocalist just as of coincidence comes in with some wordless phrases before the band accelerates moderately into an almost symphonic part. After a brief interlude-like quieting, the vocalist comes in with the main theme that ends the piece in a somewhat nervous sigh. This piece is quite demanding of the bass trombonist as the trombones are recommended using buckets throughout. An English translation of the lyrics is under way. Notated key E-minor. |
