Don’t Get Around Much Anymore (No listening currently available) |
Description: | A medium swing for a female vocalist with solo choruses open for multiple soloists. The vocalist first only sings the first two verses, but ends the piece taking the stick, last verse and in the outro solo-duelling the soprano sax over the chords of another famous Big Band tune’s intro. Featuring much ensemble playing, this arrangement is somewhat tricky and could, due to the open solo choruses, be extended to a considerable length, but has the flexibility to also be abbreviated to become a short piece in a dance set. Notated key Ab. |
