| Description: | A Bossa Nova duet, for male and female vocalist with lyrics by Daniel Eng. A brief intro starts off first the male verse, then the female verse and a duet refrain. A piano solo chorus ensues, followed by a band ensemble part and after that a trombone ensemble chorus with the guitar shadowing the lead line. The vocalists reenter in duet and after a refrain and a verse end the piece through a short outro. Fluegelhorns are recommended for the trumpet section throughout, and while the trombone lead is intended for an alto trombone, it can easily be played on a regular horn. Notated key A. |
