| Description: | A triplet feel funk for a female vocalist, this piece starts with a barking trombone intro, which sets off the groove. The vocalist then sings two verses and one refrain, before an interlude catapults the soloist off for thirty two bars of ad-libbing. An ensemble part, interspersed with a short sax chorus, follows, before a short band shout sets off the original groove and the vocalist for the final verse and refrain. Notated key Em. |
