White Mouse Blues

(No listening currently available)

Description: An eleven bar blues in 7/4 texas-rock style for a female vocalist, with lyrics by Daniel Eng, this piece starts with an à cappella wind intro, hinting at latin, that ends with the rhythm section setting the groove. The vocalist then sings three verses, which are followed by a guitar solo ending in an interlude similar to the intro. A sax chorus breaking the blues progression accompanied by bass, piano and drums follows, that in its turn lead into a loud and busy shout chorus which also is not in the blues progression. When the shout chorus settles down, the original groove starts anew and the vocalist joins in to sing the last three verses, before a fairly short outro quoting the intro loudly ends the song.
