Description:<\/strong><\/td>\nA slow ballad in even 8th’s that features trombone 2. This feature is intended to be played on an alto trombone, but can easily be played on a regular horn – in high or low octave. A short intro and trombone melody for the two first sixteen-bar periods and stick, leave the saxes for the final eight bars of the theme. Then comes a trombone solo over sixteen bars that leads to a shout chorus by the band in the stick, ending with a variation of the intro as a hand-over to the last theme presentation played by the bass with the soloist as second. The piece ends with the final statement of the theme. Notated key C.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
