It’s taken some time to complete this chart, but from today my latest composition is published here in the web shop! An eleven bar blues in 7\/4 meter, in blues-rock style, for a female vocalist “White Mouse Blues”<\/a> is the latest chart in the “Yokai” program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new chart is a part of the almost complete “Yokai” program I have been working on for some time now, and concerns one major factor in what makes ghosts and supernatural phenomenons spawn and occur: powerlessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In ths time of increasing inequality and unjustified amassing of wealth based on speculation and senseless exploitation in combination with malicious attempts at centralising all kinds of power to only a few select, the questions of empowerment, representation and division of power have become acutely crucial. Adding to that a planet on the brink of depletion and pollution to the point where its systems will fail our human sustenance, I can only guess to how much frustration, bitterness and resentment that grow among those that get exposed to the brutality and lack of humanity that get produced in the struggle that too many in power now pursue in futile attempts to position themselves in a petty financial, political and social hierarchy that is pointless, damaging to the whole humankind and in my opinion can be seen as an extended suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n

Who, then, is better suited to voice and express all that lamenting, hating and visions of retribution, justice and freedom than the boxed in, white laboratory mouse, trotting back and forth in its plastic prison waiting to be singled out for whatever use the scientists may have for it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t get me wrong here; science is absolutely crucial and necessary for our Earth society, but nonetheless the position of a laboratory mouse presents a tough ethical dilemma. Is it right to deprive a living creature – of any kind – of its rights to freedom and empowerment, even if the cause and purposes are for the greater good? The matter can and should be discussed and philosophically theoreticised, but my firm opinion is that any such limiting of the freedom of others from personal reasons and for personal gains should be seen as a deadly sin and one of the greatest evil a person can commit. Right now too many people with egotistic motives for robbing the living world of its freedom unduly occupy too many administrations in too many countries, and many more aspire to take state power in too many others. I regard it as my duty and calling to oppose those inhumane, corrupt, brutal, dictatorial and hateful oppressors and liars with all my cultural, social and political means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new song is intended as an eye-opener and a groovy pointer to what forces the deprivation of power may invoke – both preternatural and worldly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
